Richard Milhous Nixon (1913 - 1994)

Vice President of the United States under President Dwight Eisenhower from 1953 to 1960. He was defeated by Edmund G. "Pat" Brown in 1962 in his run for governor of California. He was elected President in 1968 and served until his resignation in 1974 under the cloud of his involvement in the Watergate scandal.
